I’m an entrepreneur, a mother, a wife, and a lover of all things beautiful. I seek to create pretty moments in the average day: flowers on a perfectly set dinner table a glimmer from a ring on your finger, radiant smiles as you eat a meal surrounded by family. No occasion is too small to celebrate yourself. No dream too big to chase.
My story wasn’t always pretty, but I think it’s beautiful regardless because it brought me here—to this new role in my life—creating jewelry that inspires women just like you to care for themselves: strong, beautiful, and special.
My mother’s energy inspired me to follow my dreams...
I was born in Lebanon, in a basement without electricity at the heart of the war in 1984. Shortly after, my family took refuge in Switzerland—I was raised a mix of Swiss and Arabic, never quite fitting in with either.
I lived through my fair share of childhood challenges, but I’m grateful for all that I experienced under the strength and protection of my mother. She tells me I was shy, and maybe I am still in some ways, but my mother’s energy has always been an inspiration for me. I channel her resilience still now; her fight to never give up.

I founded Zany&Shy to empower women to embrace their beauty—every day.
